Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park

The provincial Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino natural park is 191 km2 wide. In 1998 was founded the Ente Parco, an organisation which administrate the protected area. In this organisation are represented the villages who own the territory where the park is (Predazzo, Moena, Canal San Bovo, Mezzano, Imèr, Siròr, Tonadico, Sagròn Mìs, Transacqua e Fiera di Primiero).

The natural park area, which is in the north-east part of Trentino, is included between the 1074 meters high of Canali Valley and the almost 3200 meters high of the highest mountain peaks of the Pale di San Martino chain.
